Spring field Brew Crew Jax Beer Week Downtown Pub Crawl

Recently I was asked to sponsor an event for the upcoming Jacksonville Beer Week taking place April 2-7. What I came up with was The Jacksonville Beer Week, Springfield Brew Crew Downtown Pub Crawl on Friday, April 6. The event will be for the benefit of The Bridge of Northeast Florida in Springfield.

A bit more information about the event itself:

The pub crawl will visit between five and seven downtown pubs. Each pub will offer drink discounts and hold a raffle for prizes. We will also place donation buckets at each pub to gather more funds towards our goal of providing The Bridge with a significant donation. At the final stop of the pub there will be grand prize drawings open to all participants who have completed the entire crawl (hint there will be several and one will be a much-coveted Intuiton Mug Club membership!)

The Jacksonville Landing is hosting the registration and pre-crawl mixer.

Our current lineup of bars/pubs includes:

•Fionn MacCool’s
•Burrito Gallery
•Burro Bar
•Northstar Substation

With more to come.

In addition to these establishments, I have obtained commitments from several restaurants at The Landing that they will provide beer or drink specials to crawlers during the registration/pre-crawl mixer.

Those establishments include:

•Benny’s Steak and Seafood
•Vito’s Italian Restaurant
•Rush Street Lounge

I am still working with several more establishments to get them on board as well.

The registration period/pre-crawl mixer will begin at 5:30 PM, crawl instructions and announcements will be at 6:45, and the crawl will begin at 7:00 PM.

Each participant will receive:

•A souvenir acrylic pint glass
•One free drink ticket
•Discounted LOCAL and FLORIDA beers during the crawl
•Eligibility to be entered in all drawings
•Fun and surprises along the way

And, if they complete the entire crawl, elegibility in the gand prize drawings.

The overall sponsor of Jacksonville Beer Week is Intuition Ale Works. As a business, this brewery is committed to making Jacksonville a better place for us all and they host many philanthropic events.

Our hope is to be very successful this year and to make the crawl into an annual event. With the proper support I think that this can become a highly attended and anticipated event.
