5th Annual Springfield Chili Cookoff!!

Come enjoy Springfield's annual Chili Cookoff, a fun, picnic-style, music-filled, family-friendly, great afternoon to benefit charities supporting Springfield and neighborhood residents.

Minimum $15 donation at the door to taste and participate in the Peoples' Choice voting (and limited to the first 140 guests!) For $15, you receive a brown-bag chili tasting kit, including a commemorative tasting cup, drink, cornbread, brownie and a voting bean! Kids 12 and under are free but ineligible to vote.

Some seating will be provided, but bring your own lawn chairs and blankets to create your own picnic space. Beer, soft drinks and water will be available for purchase.

The chili cookoff is less than two weeks away and is shaping up to be a great event! Bring $15 and your taste buds, enjoy some fantastic chili, music and neighbors AND help neighborhood organizations take home some prize funds!

What a knockout Chili Cookoff! I was expecting some stinkers but we have very talented cooks in the 'hood.

So this was the first year being organized under the Springfield Brew Crew. Tell us what needs to change, other than the weather! Beer is powerful, but only so much.

Never the chili cookout was just incredible, even the rain - everything was going so well and even rain could not drive people away or home. It was great afternoon for Springfield.

How could you make a decision? They were all great. Music was awesome too. We bought her CDs. You guys did a great job!
