FAQ's
Q. Who can post events on mySpringfield.org?
A. Events can be posted by neighborhood organizations and groups. Businesses and faith based groups should use the forums for announcing their events since the number of them and number of potential events each may host could easily overwhelm the calendar and upcoming events section of the website.
Q. We signed up with Google and created a calendar, how do I get my events to appear on the site.
A. We've created a special account on Google that we can administer and assign calendars to each of the orgs/groups. Contact the admin here to get login credentials for your calendar.
Q. My org/group has a Google calendar from mySpringfield. How can I create events on it?
A. Contact the officers in your org as they have the login credentials. If there has been a change in duties within your org or for lost password issues please contact the admin.
Q. Will you post our events for us?
A. We get a lot of similar requests and unfortunately have to decline them as the focus at mySpingfield is to provide the facility for orgs and groups to do this themselves and cut out the middle man.
Q. How does our org/group use these same calendars on our website?
A. This depends on how your site is set up and even then you may have multiple options. Please contact the admin here for assistance.
